Join the Surfside Parks and Recreation Department to celebrate Earth Day during the Earth Day Resource Fair! 

The Earth Day Resource Fair will take place on Sunday, April 19, 2020 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Community Center.  

During the Resource Fair, Miami Dade County will be conducting a shower-head and light bulb exchange. If you are interested, please bring your old shower-heads/lightbulbs to participate in the exchange. Participants will be permitted one shower head for one new high efficiency model—maximum of 2 shower heads per household and a maximum of 2 incandescent bulbs for 2 CFL bulbs.

The Youth Environmental Alliance (YEA) will also be present, will host a presentation at 11:30 am, and will host a dune restoration after party from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

In addition, during the Resource Fair participants will enjoy interactive activities, arts and crafts, giveaways, and more.  Participants will also have the opportunity to vote on the 2020 Earth Day Photo Contest.
