Free Rabies Vaccines for Cats (until December 30, 2018)

The Miami-Dade County's Animal Services Department is offering free rabies vaccinations for cats through the end of the year. This will assist in providing protection to indoor/outdoor and free-roaming cats which have an increased likelihood of encountering potentially rabid wildlife.

No appointment is necessary. All cats receiving a rabies vaccine must be a minimum of four (4) months or older and be transported in a carrier. Individuals presenting cats for free rabies vaccination must have valid identification that reflects a Miami-Dade County address. Presentation of free-roaming community cats for rabies vaccination does not constitute ownership of the animals.
