The Town of Surfside Public Works Department will be removing the invasive Scaevola plants in the dune areas along the Town’s beaches from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. every Saturday now through the end of April.

These plants threaten rare native beach plants on our coastlines, such as the inkberry and sea lavender species.
