A unique destination within Greater Miami, Surfside combines modern luxury with a beach town feel. Boasting a peaceful mile of pristine beach, luxury beachfront hotels, a one-of-a-kind Business District, and gorgeous weather during the month of November - here's what makes this small town perfect to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday!

DINING

If you don’t have plans or actual food for the holiday meal just yet, don’t fret – you’ll find some options locally. La Plage Restaurant at the Grand Beach Hotel will host a Thanksgiving feast on November 25 between 5 and 10 p.m. Hotel guests and locals alike will have the opportunity to enjoy a delightful dinner experience for $90 per person for adults and $35 for children. The purchase includes a choice of salad, a main course as well as a varied selection of side dishes. To end this festive and delectable meal, guests will also have the opportunity to pick a dessert from a few different kinds of seasonal pies. To RSVP, call 786-456-5746 or email fbreservations@grandbeachhotel.com.

For a Michelin-worthy experience, opt for Thomas Keller's The Surf Club Restaurant. The Thanksgiving menu offers holiday classics elevated by Keller's team such as the slow-roasted green circle heritage turkey breast with sage gravy and blood-orange relish. To start things off on a lighter note, a leafy greens and grains salad plus The Surf Club's version of snacks - crudité, Ora king smoked salmon galette with caviar, and other delicacies. Don't worry, country bread stuffing, garnet yam, green bean casserole, mushroom velouté and black truffle mac & cheese will also be coming to the table during main courses. For dessert, choose between apple cherry cobbler or pumpkin pie. The menu is priced at $195 per person. To reserve a table, call 305-768-9440 or book through Tock.

If a laid back approach is in store for you this year, Flanigans Surfside on Harding Avenue will be offering two Thanksgiving Specials (while supplies last): Joe's Turkey Deal for in-room diners for $14.99 and the Just Dinner Deal (to go only) for $12.99.

For a killer meal outside of Thanksgiving, make sure to hit the Business District. There, neighborhood restaurant Josh’s Deli is known the spot for a casual breakfast or lunch with a daily rotating menu and modern takes on deli classics. Across the street, Cafe Ragazzi serves perfectly-executed Italian classics while Serendipity Creamery offers the perfect cold sweet treat for your post-Thanksgiving shopping.
