Important Notice: Closures for 4th of July Event

The Parks and Recreation Department will close part of the beach for our 4th of July event starting at 4 p.m. on July 3. The closure begins at 93rd Street going south (the walkway at 93rd Street will remain accessible) and ends at 91st Street (the walkway at 91st Street will remain accessible). Beach entrances between 93rd and 91st streets will be unavailable until after the event concludes.

Please note the following additional closures:

• July 4: Pool lap lanes will be closed due to the event.
• July 3 at 4 p.m.: Beach service chairs will be unavailable and will reopen on July 5.
