On Sunday, Dec. 1, more than 130 residents and staff members embraced the true spirit and joy of Christmas and community at the Town’s first-ever Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Presented by the Resort Tax Board and organized with assistance from the Youth Council, the evening featured complimentary coffee and baked goods and sweets in addition to a grand appearance by Santa Claus, who spent time with some of Surfside's best-behaved kids.
