Surfside Residents and Hotel Guests Enjoy Free Access to Local Museums, Courtesy of Resort Tax Board

Art and history enthusiasts in Surfside have a new reason to celebrate. The Town’s Resort Tax Board is sponsoring a program that provides Surfside residents and hotel guests with free, year-round admission to two of Miami’s most prominent cultural landmarks: The Bass Museum of Art and the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU.

The initiative offers unrestricted access to general admission at both museums, making it easier than ever to explore world-class art exhibits and historical collections. To take advantage of the program, Surfside residents must present valid identification showing a Surfside address. Hotel guests are required to provide proof of their stay, such as a room key or hotel document with their name and dates of stay.

Located in Miami Beach, The Bass Museum of Art is renowned for its contemporary art exhibitions and educational programs. The Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU, housed in two historic synagogue buildings, offers a deep dive into the contributions of Jewish communities to Florida’s cultural heritage.

This program underscores Surfside’s commitment to enhancing cultural opportunities for its community and visitors while promoting the arts.
