
Families in Surfside can look forward to a weekend of springtime fun with two festive events hosted by the Town’s Parks and Recreation Department. The Splash Into Spring: Duck and Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, followed by the Spring Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Both events are free for Surfside residents and hotel guests with proof of access.
Splash Into Spring: Duck and Egg Hunt
Taking place at the Surfside Community Center's Sand Dollar Key Pool from 10 a.m. to noon, this aquatic celebration will feature an egg hunt and special basket giveaways. Children ages 9 and under will be divided into three age groups for the hunt:
3 and under – 11 a.m.
4-6 years – 11:15 a.m.
7-9 years – 11:30 a.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own baskets to fully enjoy the event.
Spring Egg Hunt
On Sunday, the excitement continues at 96th Street Park (9572 Bay Dr.) from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Families can enjoy a morning of spring-themed activities, including bounce houses, dancing, and an egg hunt divided into multiple age groups:
Participants should bring their own baskets and arrive on time, as hunts will begin promptly at the scheduled times.
Both events are free of charge for Surfside residents, with proof of residency required upon entry. Hotel guests may also attend by showing an access or reservation letter from their hotel. No guests of residents will be permitted.
