96th Street Park
Surfside's primary park, 96th Street Park, is now open!
- Located at 9580 Bay Drive, it serves as the Town of Surfside’s main recreational space featuring a multipurpose field, multi-story building, playground equipment, temporary Kayak Launch.
- Hours - Open daily at 8 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Temporary Kayak Launch Rules:
- All minors under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Life Jackets are required at all times.
- Enter at your own risk. Kayak launch will operate from 8 a.m. - sunset. All persons must return back prior to sunset.
- Wildlife may be present. You are entering a natural area and wetland preserve.
- Do not touch or feed the animals.
- Maintain a safe distance of 30 feet.
- No fishing.
- No swimming.
- Wear non-slip shoes to avoid accidents while on the dock or in the kayak.
**Visitors must adhere to all other park rules, regulations and operational guidelines.
Hawthorne Tot Lot
- Located at the intersection of 90th Street and Bay Drive, the park offers a perfect play area for children 6 and under.
- Amenities include a sand pit, 2 large play apparatuses, swings, picnic tables and benches.

Paws Up Dog Park
- Located at the corner of Byron Avenue and 93rd Street
- Hours - Open daily at Sunrise - 8 p.m.

Veterans Park and Tennis Center
- Located at 8750 Collins Avenue
- The Tennis Center offers 3 lighted courts for recreational and instructional play.
- Open daily 7:00 am - 10:00 pm

Skate Park & Pump Track
- Located at 10800 Collins Avenue at Haulover Park
- The park is made possible through a collaboration between five municipalities: Surfside, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Islands, Miami Beach and Sunny Isles Beach. It is not managed by the Surfside Parks and Recreation Department.

- The park is free for all to use
- Provides options for skateboarding, biking and pedestrian use
- Parking: $5/vehicle (weekdays); $7/vehicle (weekends and holidays); $15/bus or RV (every day)

The Haulover Skate Park/Pump Track, located at 10800 Collins Avenue is made possible through a collaboration between Miami-Dade County and five municipalities: Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Islands, Miami Beach, Sunny Isles Beach, and the Town of Surfside. It is not managed by the Surfside Parks and Recreation Department.
